Privacy Policy
toolcli is designed to help developers work faster without asking for personal information. This page explains what limited data we handle and how we protect it.
Information we process
We do not run user accounts or store the content you process with our tools. Runtime inputs stay on your device unless a tool clearly requires a network request.
- Minimal request logs (anonymised IP, user agent, timestamp) kept for up to 7 days to prevent abuse.
 - Aggregated usage metrics that help us detect outages and prioritise improvements. These dashboards do not include identifiers or build behavioural profiles.
 - Clipboard and download actions happen entirely in your browser. We never upload your clipboard contents to any service.

Cookies and local storage
We rely on a small set of essential first-party cookies to keep your language and theme preferences in sync across visits. As we explore privacy-conscious advertising, we may add lightweight measurement cookies—always announced in advance and subject to consent where required.
- Functional cookies — remember your locale and theme selections so the interface opens with the same settings next time.
 - Advertising cookies (planned) — used only for consent tracking and basic reach measurement once ad placements launch.

Third-party services
toolcli runs on managed edge infrastructure. Any data processed by the platform follows the security and compliance controls of our hosting provider. We do not share log data with unrelated vendors.
Your choices
You may request log deletion or clarifications by contacting us. We will confirm ownership before removing any retained request metadata. Because we operate without accounts, we may not be able to link logs back to you without additional context.
